California Residents - How do I opt out of the sale of my personal information?

I am a California resident – how do I opt-out of the “sale” of my personal information?

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with the right to opt out of the “sale” of your personal information.  While we do not generally directly sell your personal information in the conventional sense (i.e., for money), like many other online publishers, we use services that help deliver interest-based and other types of advertisements to you on our platform.  Our use of some of these services may be classified under California law as a “sale” of your personal information to the companies that provide the services because they collect information from our users (such as device data and online activity data) to help them serve ads more likely to interest you and for other advertising purposes.

For information regarding how our collection, use, and sharing of your personal information, or for more information about your privacy rights as a California resident, please visit our Privacy Policy.

If you are a California resident and would like to opt-out of these “sales,” you can follow these steps:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of www.quizdaily.com and click the “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” link in the bottom right hand corner, indicated by the green outline:
  1. A pop-up window will appear. This explains how we use cookies and your information to make our services better. To ensure your information is not shared, click on the toggle button next to “Sale of Personal Data”:

You will know you did this properly when the toggle button turns grey, indicated by the pink arrow above!
  1. Finally, click "Confirm My Choices" in the green box.

This is a device-specific action. Ensure you follow this process on all devices you play Quiz Daily on!
